I’ve loved every second of the last 12 years, creating and monetising brilliant Media and Entertainment experiences across all digital platforms.

As a Digital Director in the publishing sector, I use data and insight to identify new revenue opportunities and wholeheartedly believe in building digital businesses with a clear and creative consumer proposition at the heart of them.

Ecommerce and Creative Director, Ohsomm.

Ohsomm is a disruptive new London based, multi-origin wine brand and lifestyle publisher, launching in 2017.

Ohsomm is a brand and business ‘born digitally’, developed creatively and focused as much on lifestyle as it is on the best-in-class wines that are being selected by our team of brilliant ‘Lifestyle Somms’ from all corners of the globe.

**We are currently hiring for the following team members – based in South London to start ASAP**

This is a rare and unique opportunity to join an exciting start up at early stage.

As well as being able to contribute significantly to the shaping of a brand-new business, you will also share in its success.

Role 1: Look and Feel Manager.

As the Look and Feel Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall design and UX of all Ohsomm consumer touch points. This includes the physical product, online and social channels.

The focus of the role will be the day to day optimisation and growth of the Ohsomm site

However, you will also be responsible for bringing exciting new ‘special collections’ of wine to market through the creative production of the product itself and all associated content and marketing assets.

This should be delivered in a manner which is sensitive to the brand, innovative in its execution and hugely ambitious in terms of impact on the market and the consumer.

Brilliant creative, digital design and production skills required along with strong experience of WordPress. Magento experience desired.

Role 2: Operations Manager.

As the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for running a small, modern warehouse unit in South London.

You’ll own the end to end process once orders have been received via ohsomm.com through to safe, timely delivery to our customers.

Experience of wine stock mgmt & short run printing is not essential but would be of significant benefit.

Role 3: General Services & Customer Support

I work with ESI’s editorial, social, advertising and digital teams to launch and grow strategic digital businesses across the ESI Portfolio:

The Independent I Evening Standard I ES Magazine I Indybest I The i newspaper I i100 I London Live TV I Homes & Property.

In July, both the Independent and the Standard showed the largest MoM growth of our competitive set. A massive 98m UB’s / 355m PV’s across the ESI portfolio.

The Independent reached 82m global UB’s with 33m in the UK, up +79% year on year (ABCe) making it the fastest growing news brands site once again.

The Commercial Social, Digital Partnerships and eCommerce teams report into me and I support the entire ESI commercial floor with digital ideation and development on a daily basis.
